Your availability
The My Availability tab is where you say which days and hours you take gigs. It’s what decides whether a client sees an open slot on your storefront. Set it up once and the whole week runs on autopilot.
Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”Go to your Studio Hub and open the My Availability tab. It’s the third one in the list, right after Storefront and Services. If the top of the Hub says FREELANCER VIEW, you’re in the right place.
It works on any plan, free included. No lock on this one.
Building your week
Section titled “Building your week”- Open the tab. You get 7 days, Monday through Sunday, one per row. Saturday and Sunday have an orange stripe on the side — that’s just decoration.
- Each day has a toggle that turns it on or off. Turned off, the row dims and shows Closed / Unavailable.
- On the days you turn on, pick a start and an end time from the two dropdowns. Options run from 00:00 to 23:30, in 30-minute steps.
- Hit Save Hours. The app confirms with “Schedule saved successfully!”. If you get “Error saving schedule.”, try again.
If you turn a day on and leave it without hours, the app rejects it: “Invalid hours: working days require an opening and closing time.”
Open 24h
Section titled “Open 24h”Next to the two time dropdowns there’s a small 24h button. Click it and that day becomes Open 24h (the green chip), and the time pickers disappear. To go back, click set hours — it returns the day to 09:00–18:00.
What this actually does to your bookings
Section titled “What this actually does to your bookings”| Situation | What the client sees |
|---|---|
| Closed day | No slots at all. The day isn’t even clickable on their calendar. |
| Open day | Hourly slots, starting at the time you open. |
| Today | Slots that already passed don’t show up. |
Slots run hourly, anchored to your opening time. If you open at 09:30, the client sees 09:30, 10:30, 11:30… — it doesn’t round to the top of the hour.
It’s one single schedule
Section titled “It’s one single schedule”Your hours are one per profile — not per service, not per virtual space. All your services follow the same week.
And there are no per-date exceptions: you can’t mark a holiday, take vacation, or block off just 20/08/2026. What exists is the weekly pattern, repeating forever.
Syncing with Google Calendar or Apple Calendar
Section titled “Syncing with Google Calendar or Apple Calendar”On your Freelancer dashboard, in the right-hand sidebar, there’s a Calendar Sync (iCal) card. It gives you a link that Google Calendar and Apple Calendar know how to read — your gigs start showing up there, alongside the rest of your life.
Getting your link
Section titled “Getting your link”- Open the Calendar Sync (iCal) card.
- If it says “No active token” and Copy Link is greyed out, click Rotate. Despite the name, that’s what creates your first link — new accounts usually start without one.
- Click Copy Link. You’ll get the “Link copied!” toast.
Subscribing in Google Calendar (on desktop)
Section titled “Subscribing in Google Calendar (on desktop)”- In the left menu, under Other calendars, click the +.
- Choose From URL.
- Paste the link and confirm.
Subscribing on iPhone or iPad
Section titled “Subscribing on iPhone or iPad”- Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
- Paste the link and save.
The feed includes gigs where you’re the client, the owner, or confirmed crew — an invite you haven’t accepted yet doesn’t show up.
The rest of the sidebar
Section titled “The rest of the sidebar”Still on the dashboard, next to the sync card, you’ve got:
- The month calendar, with a green dot on days that have something booked.
- Active Gigs — your open gigs, each with its status (“In progress”, “Awaiting deposit”, “In review”…). They’re listed by status, not by date: a gig from last month that’s still in review stays on the list. With nothing open, you get “No active gigs right now”. Click one to open the Workspace.
- Upcoming gigs — what’s coming up on the calendar.
What this tab doesn’t do
Section titled “What this tab doesn’t do”- Per-date exceptions: no holidays, no vacation, no blocking one specific Saturday. Weekly pattern only.
- Overnight shifts: won’t save. Only Open 24h.
- Hours per service or per space: it’s one schedule, for the whole profile.
- 15-minute steps: the dropdowns move in 30s, and clients pick by the hour.
- Timezone: always Brasília time. Nowhere to change it.
- Importing from Google: doesn’t exist. One-way, always.
