Comanda and register (POS)

The comanda is the session’s open tab at the counter. Everything the band spends during the rehearsal goes on it: the room, the service (Gravação, Ensaio Gravado…), rented gear and bar consumption. At the end you close the bill right there and take payment in cash, PIX or card.

On your dashboard calendar, click the confirmed session and then Fazer Check-in. The comanda is created automatically at that moment, already holding:

  • the room (or the monthly plan line, if the band has a package);
  • the booking’s service, if there is one;
  • any gear that was already reserved;
  • the booking’s customer as Pagante (payer), plus anyone else on the gig.

Once checked in, the session gets two buttons: Comanda Aberta (the running tab) and Fechar Conta (straight to the payment summary).

In the comanda, the room and the service sit in the Sessão · itens compartilhados block (shared session items), which is split among whoever pays for the rehearsal. Below it, under Membros na Sala, each person has their own card with what they consumed.

  1. Click a person’s card to select them. The Menu Rápido (quick menu) shows Adicionando para (adding for) their name.
  2. Tap the product or gear. Each tap adds one unit to that person’s bill.
  3. Services (at the top of the Menu Rápido, under Serviços) don’t need a person selected: they go straight onto the session. More in Services.

Put something on the wrong person? The selector under the item changes its owner. To add more people to the tab, open + Adicionar cliente and search by name.

Not everyone on the comanda splits the room. The friend who came to watch and had two beers pays for the beers, not for a slice of the rehearsal.

Each person’s card has a round minus button: Tirar do rateio do ensaio (take out of the rehearsal split). Click it and the person gets the só consumo (only consumption) tag and pays only what was rung up in their name. The room and the service are then split only among those still paying (the session block shows rateado ÷2, ÷3… with the right number). To put them back, the same button turns into a plus: Colocar no rateio do ensaio.

The same split applies on every screen: in each card’s total, and in Rateio and Rateio p/ Item at closing.

Every item rung up from the Menu Rápido has a Qtd/horas (qty/hours) field. The table ordered a round of 6? Type 6 instead of tapping six times.

  • Raising the quantity takes from stock. Type 6 on a beer that was at 1 and 5 more come out of stock.
  • Lowering it gives units back. Go from 6 down to 4 and 2 units return to stock. The item’s minus button also returns one unit.
  • Rental gear doesn’t touch stock. For gear, the quantity is the number of rental hours, not units off the shelf. Renting a keyboard for 3h doesn’t use up 3 keyboards.
  1. Click Check-out (or go straight in through Fechar Conta).
  2. In Resumo do Check-out, choose how to show the split: Pagador Único (the whole total at once), Rateio (rehearsal payers split evenly, “só consumo” people pay their own) or Rateio p/ Item (each person’s bill, line by line).
  3. If you want, enter a discount in Desconto (R$) and click Aplicar desconto.
  4. Click Ir para Pagamento and fill in Dinheiro (cash), PIX and Cartão (card); you can mix them. Restante shows what is still missing.
  5. When the amount matches the Total a Pagar, click Confirmar Pagamento e Fechar. The session becomes completed and the payment goes into the open shift.

Checked in the wrong session, or too early? On the checked-in session, below the comanda buttons, there is Desfazer check-in (undo check-in). It asks for confirmation and then:

  • the session goes back to confirmada (confirmed);
  • the comanda the check-in opened is deleted.

The session stays on the calendar. If it isn’t going to happen, undo the check-in and then cancel it the normal way.
