Your dashboard

Your dashboard is the first screen you land on when you log in. It’s your gig calendar: what’s happening today, what’s coming next, and the buttons to confirm a booking, check in, and jump into the Workspace. It lives at findmygig.app/dashboard.

This article covers the crew dashboard

FindMyGig builds your dashboard based on your profile type. If you’re a stage-and-road Freelancer — Roadie, Stage Manager, Light Designer, Sound Engineer, Tour Manager, Session Musician, Light Tech, Audio Tech, Backline Tech, FOH or Monitor Engineer — this is the dashboard you get, with the gig sidebar on the right.

If you’re studio/digital production, yours is similar but not identical

If you do mixing, mastering, beatmaking and the like, you get a version without the sidebar — no “Gigs Ativas”, no “Próximos gigs”, no calendar sync panel. The calendar, the gig window and the create-gig button work exactly the same, so the rest of this article still applies to you. If you run a physical studio, your dashboard is a completely different one (with shifts, tabs and POS) — not this.

Up top you’ll read your profile name followed by Dashboard (something like “Fulano - Dashboard”) and, below it, Workspace do Freelancer.

First time here? You’ll hit a wall

If your profile isn’t set up yet, the calendar doesn’t even load. Instead you get a card:

Configuração do Estúdio Necessária — Você precisa registrar o perfil e localização do seu estúdio antes de acessar Dashboard.

Click Configurar Meu Estúdio and the app takes you to the Studio Hub. Set up your profile there and come back — then the dashboard opens.

Where it says “estúdio”, read “your profile”

The app reuses the same copy for physical studios and solo Freelancers. Don’t panic: you don’t need a warehouse to use the dashboard.

One more thing: if the app is in your musician / personal context, the dashboard won’t open — it sends you straight to the Creator Hub. Switch back to your work context (your professional profile) to see the calendar.

The calendar

The calendar takes up nearly the whole screen and has three views: Mês, Semana and Dia. For Freelancers it opens on Semana (week).

The top bar gives you:

• Hoje (today) and the back/forward arrows.
• Search: “Pesquisar ref # ou nome…” (hidden on narrow screens).
• The Month / Week / Day switcher.
• The create-gig button (more on that below).
• A ? that opens the keyboard shortcuts list.

Below sits the color legend: Pendente (amber) · Confirmado (teal) · Acontecendo Agora (blue) · Concluído (gray) · Cancelado (red). Next to it, Ocultar cancelados / Mostrar cancelados — handy for clearing the view when cancellations pile up.

Each event reads [REF] Client name - Service. A gig longer than 24h becomes an all-day row instead of a giant block running across the grid.

The dashboard refreshes itself every 10 seconds, no spinner and no button. If someone confirms a gig right now, it shows up within moments — no need to hit refresh.

If you see an amber “hidden bookings” warning

When you have too many bookings in the range, this pops up: “Algumas reservas podem não estar visíveis — tente reduzir o intervalo de datas”. Take it literally: leave Month view, go to Week or Day, and everything shows again.

Rescheduling means dragging (there’s no form)

To change the time: drag the event where you want it. To change the duration: pull the edge. There is no edit-booking screen.

Three guards will stop you, as a toast:

Overlapping a confirmed gig	”Não é possível reservar dois horários confirmados ao mesmo tempo!”
A service that can’t run in that room	”Erro: ‘<serviço>’ não pode ser realizado nesta sala.”

If the drag fails, the event snaps back silently

The calendar moves the event on screen before the server confirms it. If the call fails, it just reloads and the event returns to its old slot — with no error message at all. If you dragged something and it “jumped back”, drag it again and double-check it stuck.

The “R$” and the “N ativos” up top

On a computer, next to the view switcher, two numbers show up. They trip a lot of people up, so let’s be precise:

Indicator	What it actually is
R$ X	Sum of the base price of current-month bookings loaded on screen, cancelled ones excluded.
N ativos	How many loaded bookings are Confirmado or checked in.

That R$ is not your earnings

It sums booking base price — including pending gigs that haven’t even been confirmed — and it doesn’t subtract commission or payment fees. It’s not money received, not a balance, not revenue. Real money lives in your Wallet. And here’s the part that scares people: navigate the calendar to another month and that number drops to R$ 0,00. It counts the actual current month, but it can only see bookings from the range the calendar is showing. Go back to the current month and it comes back.

“N ativos” is not the same thing as “Gigs Ativas”

Two different counts with similar names, and they will disagree on screen — that’s not a bug. N ativos counts bookings that are confirmed/checked in inside the range the calendar is showing. Gigs Ativas in the sidebar counts open service orders, with no date filter at all.

The sidebar (computer only)

On a computer, to the right of the calendar, there’s a column with four blocks. On a phone it doesn’t exist — neither does the big calendar.

1. Mini month calendar

A compact little calendar. Click a day and the big calendar jumps there. Days with gigs get a small teal dot underneath.

The dot can land one day late

A gig starting at 21:00 or later sometimes puts its dot on the next day. It’s a dot-only glitch — the gig itself sits on the right day in the grid. Trust the big calendar, not the dot.

2. Gigs Ativas

The list of your open tabs — service orders that aren’t completed or cancelled yet. It has nothing to do with dates: a gig from three weeks ago that never got closed is still here.

Each row shows the client name, the status and the booking reference. Click a row and you land straight in that gig’s Workspace.

With nothing open, you get “Nenhuma gig ativa no momento”.

3. Próximos gigs

Chips with a status dot, the client name, date and time (like 15 de jul · 21:00) and the reference. Click one and the gig window opens.

It lists from 24h ago onward, soonest first, 8 max.

It’s not “all your upcoming gigs”

The dashboard only sees gigs in the range the calendar is showing. Since it opens in Week view, in practice this block lists that week’s gigs — not your next 8 gigs overall. Flip the calendar to next month and the list changes with it. When empty, it reads “Nenhum gig agendado”.

4. Sincronizar Calendário (iCal)

It starts collapsed — click the header to open it. It lets you subscribe to your gigs in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar and see everything on your phone, your watch, wherever.

1. Click Copiar Link (you’ll see “Link copiado!”).
2. In Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, pick “subscribe to calendar from URL” and paste the link.
3. Done. Confirm a gig here and it shows up there.

If you see “Nenhum token ativo”, you don’t have a link generated yet — the copy button stays disabled.

“Rotacionar” breaks every subscription, and it asks nothing

The red Rotacionar button generates a new link and kills the old one instantly, with no confirmation. Every phone, computer and watch subscribed to the old link stops receiving your gigs, and nobody gets told. Only use it if the link leaked — and once you click it, re-subscribe on every device with the new link.

Click a gig: the detail window

Clicking an event opens a small floating window (you can drag it around). Close it with X, by clicking outside, by hitting Esc, or by clicking the same event again.

Header: client name (or Walk-In), the @username, the client’s phone (when there is one), the room and the booking reference. If the phone is dialable, it’s a WhatsApp link: one click and you’re in the chat. Inside: Início, Fim, Status and, if the client wrote one, the Descrição do Projeto.

Shortcut: Enter opens the Workspace

With a gig selected, hit Enter and you’re in its Workspace. It changes no status, it just opens. The ? on the calendar shows the other shortcuts.

The buttons change with the status:

Gig status	What you can do
Pendente	Confirmar Reserva (green) — locks the date.
Confirmado	Acessar workspace (the Workspace already exists) and, right below it, Fazer Check-in.
Checked in	Acessar Workspace and Marcar como Concluído.
Concluído	Acessar Workspace and Recibo Digital.

On a pending or confirmed gig that hasn’t passed yet, two icons show up in the header:

• Pencil (Remarcar) — it opens no form. It just fires the reminder: “Para alterar horário/sala, arraste, solte ou redimensione o evento no calendário!”
• Trash (Cancelar Agendamento) — asks to confirm (“Tem certeza que deseja cancelar esta reserva?”) before cancelling.

The Workspace opens without a check-in

A gig’s Workspace is created when the booking is confirmed. So on a Confirmado gig the window already shows the Acessar workspace button, and it doesn’t depend on check-in or on the date: it works for tomorrow’s gig (to start building the Deal Memo, crew and expenses) and for a gig from weeks ago (to settle the deposit, costs and final payment, which often happen days later). That’s where expenses, crew, files and billing live.

Check-in now just marks that the gig has started. Click Fazer Check-in, the Fazer check-in window opens (“A gig passa pra Acontecendo Agora e você cai direto no Workspace dela.”, i.e. the gig moves to Happening Now and you land in its Workspace), confirm with Fazer check-in and you’ll see “Check-in feito!”.

Two good things to know:

• You can check in early. Freelancers aren’t blocked on this.
• Forgot to check in on the day? You’ve got 48 hours after the gig ends to do it. The app asks first: “Essa gig já rolou. Fazer o check-in mesmo assim pra abrir a comanda?”. Click Fazer check-in and carry on.

After 48h, only the check-in goes away

Once 48 hours have passed since the gig ended, Fazer Check-in isn’t there anymore. Acessar workspace stays, so you still get into the Workspace.

Creating a gig by hand

On a computer, the calendar button reads ”+ Novo projeto” (”+ New project” in English). It opens the Criar Projeto Manual screen (or Criar Gig for a day-rate service), and it also opens if you click an empty slot in the grid.

What you fill in:

1. Nome do Cliente — autocompletes as you type if the client already exists.
2. E-mail do Cliente.
3. Descrição do projeto.
4. Tipo de Serviço — the list shows Name — R$ X with /dia, fixo or /hr.

If the service you pick is billed per day, two more things appear:

• Deal Memo (Rider Técnico) — build out the gig’s roles.
• Sinal / Pagamento Antecipado (%) — shortcuts for 0 / 20 / 30 / 50 (default is 30%), or type your own. It shows “Sinal a pagar na confirmação: R$ X”.

And instead of a date and a time you get the Período do Gig (gig date range), with Data Início and Data Fim. Once both are filled in, it shows how many days that is (like 6 DIAS), the math 6 × R$ 650,00 and the total. That’s how you log a tour or a road week you closed outside the storefront.

Click Criar Gig and the app confirms: “Gig criado! N dia(s) reservado(s).” If it’s a project, the message is “Projeto criado! O Workspace já tá pronto.” (“Project created! The Workspace is ready.”). Either way the message carries an Abrir Workspace button that takes you straight to the work screen. The message goes away after a few seconds; if you miss it, click the event on the calendar and then Acessar workspace.

Your phone is a different screen

This one catches a lot of people out. On a phone, the dashboard has no big calendar, no sidebar, no Gigs Ativas, Próximos gigs, iCal sync or top numbers. And you can’t create a gig from your phone — that button only exists in the desktop calendar.

What you do get on a phone:

• Acontecendo agora (or A seguir, when nothing’s running) — the gig of the moment. A multi-day gig shows “Dia 2/3”. If you have no gig today and nothing upcoming, this block disappears entirely.
• Weekly agenda — the list, week by week, with search (“Buscar reservas…”), week arrows and the Hoje badge. An empty week reads “Nenhuma reserva nesta semana.”; an empty day reads “Sem reservas neste dia.”

Phone to check, computer to build

Use your phone on the run — see the next gig, check in, open the Workspace. Creating gigs, moving times and setting up calendar sync: computer.

Multi-day gigs (tours, road weeks)

A day-rate gig can cover several days in a row: the client marks the range on your storefront, or you create it by hand with the Período do Gig. Either way it’s a single gig, from the whole first day to the whole last day.

It blocks the whole stretch of your calendar. While it’s pending, confirmed or checked in, every day in the range is taken and no client can book on top of it through the storefront. If the gig is cancelled, the days are free again.

How it shows up on the dashboard:

Desktop calendar	An all-day bar running across the gig’s days, with the client’s name, the service and the reference.
Weekly agenda (phone)	One card per week, on the gig’s first day in that week, with the range (like 6 de out. → 11 de out.) and the 6 dias badge. It doesn’t repeat on every day.
Acontecendo agora (phone)	On each day of the gig, if it’s confirmed or checked in, the row shows which day you’re on: Dia 2/6, Dia 3/6 and so on.

What’s behind a paid plan

Three things on the dashboard unlock from the Indie plan up:

The receipt button flashes “Indie” even for paying users

When the page loads, the app takes a moment to figure out your plan. In that gap, a completed gig shows the locked Recibos Digitais (Plano Indie) button. Let it finish loading before you think you lost the feature.

What this dashboard doesn’t do

So you don’t waste time looking:

• No shifts, no register. “Turno Ativo” and “Caixa Fechado” are physical-studio things. Freelancers don’t open shifts.
• No tab, no POS, no “Fechar Conta”. Your billing happens inside the gig’s Workspace.
• No “+1 Hora” to extend a session — that’s the studio’s.
• No edit-booking screen. Rescheduling is dragging, full stop.
• No notification center or alerts panel. It doesn’t exist.
• It doesn’t show money received. Balance, withdrawals and statements live in the Wallet.
• It doesn’t touch your Studio Hub. Services, rates, storefront and opening hours are on another screen.

Seeing a studio dashboard, a register or “Faça upgrade para usar o caixa”?

If you’re a Freelancer (producer or crew) and the app suddenly shows you the studio dashboard, with a shift and a register (caixa), or clicking to create a gig shows “Ponto de Venda disponível no plano Indie. Faça upgrade para usar o caixa.” (“Point of Sale available on the Indie plan. Upgrade to use the register.”), it’s not your plan and not your profile. It’s a stale session on that device. Log out and log back in and your Freelancer dashboard comes back.
