Team: roles and permissions

You don’t have to run the studio alone. You can invite people to help, and each one comes in with a role — and each role sees and touches different things. That way the front desk handles operations without bumping into your financials.

Owner. Whoever created the studio. Runs everything, including the real money: the Wallet and withdrawals, the plan (subscription), and sensitive settings (like the commission). There’s only one owner.

Manager. Your right hand. Runs all of operations and also sees the financials (Analytics, Reports, Expenses), edits the Hours and the AI Assistant, and manages the team (invites and removes). What a manager can’t do: withdraw money (the Wallet is the owner’s) or change the plan.

Staff (front desk). The person running the day-to-day at the counter. Handles studio operations — serves clients, takes bookings, checks out at the POS — but doesn’t see the financials or the team. It’s the right role for someone operating without access to the full cash view.

In short: Staff = operations; Manager = operations + financials + team; Owner = everything, including the money.

  1. In the Studio Hub, open the Staff & Roles tab.
  2. Enter the person’s email and pick the role — Manager or Staff.
  3. They get an invitation email: they just click Accept invitation and create their account (or sign in, if they already have one). The link is valid for 7 days.

Until they accept, the invite sits under Pending invitations. As soon as they create the account, it leaves pending and shows up under Active members — the list refreshes on its own when you come back to the tab.
