Finding studios and freelancers (Gig Radar)
The Gig Radar is FindMyGig’s search map — find recording studios, photographers, sound engineers, and other professionals by filtering by location and service type.
Searching by region
Section titled “Searching by region”- Open the Gig Radar from the main menu.
- The map opens centered on your location. Pan around the map or use the search bar to look up a city or neighborhood.
- The pins on the map indicate studios and professionals available in the area.
Applying filters
Section titled “Applying filters”- Use the service type filters (e.g., studio, photography, music production) to refine your results.
- Results update in real time as you adjust the filters.
Opening a profile
Section titled “Opening a profile”Tap any pin or result card to open the studio’s or professional’s storefront. There you’ll find:
- A description of services and specialties
- A gallery of work and equipment
- Reviews from other clients
- Availability and pricing
Starting a booking
Section titled “Starting a booking”- On the storefront, choose the service you want.
- Select an available date and time.
- Confirm — the booking request is sent to the professional, and you receive confirmation by email and WhatsApp.
