Monthly Plans

A monthly plan is for that band that rehearses at your studio all the time and you’d rather sell a package of rehearsals than charge hour by hour. You set how many rehearsals the package covers and what it costs; the room comes covered on those rehearsals — you just book the times on your calendar.

The monthly plan lives inside the Customers tab — your studio’s customer directory. There’s no separate screen: you turn the plan on right on the customer, in their card.

On an active customer with no package:

  1. Click the amber Activate monthly plan button.
  2. The modal explains: “Build a rehearsal package for this person or band. The room comes covered on the package’s rehearsals — you just book the times.”
  3. Pick under This plan belongs to: The person or A band.
  4. Fill in How many rehearsals in the package? (e.g. 4).
  5. Fill in Price for the 4-rehearsal package (e.g. R$ 564.00). Below it you get the math done for you: ≈ R$ 141.00 per rehearsal — handy for checking the discount came out the size you wanted.
  6. Click Activate monthly plan.

Once active, the card shows an amber “Monthly 4x” chip (hover: “Package of 4 rehearsals · R$ 564.00”) and a Deactivate link.

This choice decides who owns the package, and it matters:

  • The person — the package applies to rehearsals booked in their own name.
  • A band — the package applies to that band’s rehearsals, no matter which member booked them. This is the normal case: the band pays, not the individual.

If the customer has no band on file, the modal says the plan stays in their own name. To add the band, go to the customer’s record (see Your studio customers).

The package doesn’t book anything on its own. You keep putting each rehearsal on the calendar your way. What changes is how check-in charges:

  • On the rehearsal that opens the package, a line reads “Monthly 4x — rehearsal 1/4” and charges the whole package (e.g. R$ 564.00).
  • On the following ones the line reads “Rehearsal 2/4 (covered)” at R$ 0.00 — the room was already paid for in the package.
  • When it runs out (the 5th rehearsal on a package of 4), a new package opens and charges again.

The analytics screen has a Monthly plans section with two metrics:

MetricWhat it is
Plan revenueHow much package money came in over the period.
Room covered by planThe full room value the covered rehearsals used (what you’d otherwise have charged as one-offs).

In the revenue chart, monthly plans get their own band (indigo), separate from rooms, services, rentals and retail.

Changing the package: with a package active, the activate button disappears from the card. To change the rehearsal count or the price, deactivate and activate again with the new values.

Ending it: click Deactivate on the card (for a band package it reads Deactivate · Band Name). It asks for confirmation. This only ends the package — the customer and their whole history stay intact.

The Customers tab works on any plan — but monthly plans unlock from the Indie plan up. If your plan doesn’t include it, the button shows a padlock. Upgrade and it unlocks.
