Payment methods
On FindMyGig you deal with payment in two different situations: paying for your plan (the monthly subscription) and getting paid by a client on a gig. The accepted methods are the same — PIX and card — but the flow changes. All financial and payment services run through Asaas (Asaas Gestão Financeira), the payment institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil that processes the charges, holds the account and makes the payouts. FindMyGig is the software that runs on top.
Paying for your plan
Section titled “Paying for your plan”You pay the subscription right inside your Hub, in the subscription area.
- Accepted methods: PIX, credit card or debit card.
- It’s monthly: Indie and Professional are subscriptions billed every 30 days.
- Card renews on its own: the next charge is automatic each cycle. With PIX, you get a new charge to pay each cycle.
Underground is free forever — no charge at all. Pricing, upgrade, downgrade and cancellation details are in Pricing & Plans.
How a client pays for a gig
Section titled “How a client pays for a gig”When you request the deposit or the final payment inside the Workspace, FindMyGig generates a checkout link and sends it to the client by email and WhatsApp. You don’t send anything manually.
At checkout, the client chooses how to pay:
- PIX — a QR Code (and a copy-and-paste code) shows up. It clears instantly.
- Credit or debit card — the client fills in the card details and the payment is processed right there, on the spot.
About fees
Section titled “About fees”Every charge has the Asaas processing fee. It’s the fee Asaas charges at that moment — not a fixed number we set; we pull it straight from Asaas. The exact value shows up in the checkout, in real time, for each payment method (PIX, credit or debit).
By default, the client pays the full gig amount, with no surcharge — the fee comes out of whoever receives (freelancer or studio), along with the platform commission (calculated on the net amount). If you bring your own client, you pay 0% commission (only the Asaas fee).
To withdraw your balance, see Withdrawing your money (PIX).
