Jobs: finding a gig and applying

The Job Board is the jobs listing: people hiring musicians, techs, roadies, FOH, crew. You find the job, send your application, and whoever’s hiring reaches out to you.

It lives inside the Mural da Cena, on the VAGAS tab.

VAGAS isn’t MURAL

Two different things, on the same screen:

• MURAL (the Gig Board) — it’s the community feed. Posts, likes, comments, photos, video. The scene’s social network.
• VAGAS (the Job Board) — it’s the jobs listing. Someone needs a professional and posts the job; you apply.

Liking a post on MURAL isn’t applying to anything. If you want work, the tab is VAGAS.

Where it lives

• On desktop: the Mural da Cena link in the top bar.
• On mobile: the Cena tab in the bottom bar.
• Once you’re there, the title is Mural da Cena and the three tabs are MURAL · VAGAS · MINHAS GIGS. Tap VAGAS.

You need to be logged in

The VAGAS tab only opens with a login. If you’re not logged in, the app sends you to the sign-in screen before showing you any jobs.

Finding the right job

The list brings in every open job, newest to oldest. There’s no page 2 — it all comes down at once and you filter right there on the screen.

Above the list there are three filters:

Filter	What it does
”Buscar…”	Searches the text in the job’s title and description.
”Instrumento / Função”	A dropdown built from whatever exists in the open jobs. Starts on “Todos”.
”Cachê Mínimo (R$)“	A number field (e.g., 200) to hide jobs below that amount.

Each job shows up as a card with the title, two lines of the description, and some colored tags: instrument/role, cachê, and the studio or project name. If the job is yours, it comes marked “SUA VAGA”. Click the card and the detail opens beside it (on mobile, the screen switches to the detail).

If nothing matches the filter, you get “Nenhuma vaga encontrada.”. If you haven’t clicked a job, you get “Selecione uma vaga para ver os detalhes.”.

The cachê filter gets it wrong — and wrong in the worst direction

The cachê is free text that the person hiring types in (“R$ 500/dia”, “A combinar”, “a partir de 1k”). The filter tries to guess the number and slips up badly: a R$ 1.500/dia job reads as 1,5 and disappears if you ask for a minimum of 200 — exactly the good one. Meanwhile the “A combinar” ones always get through.

Use this filter for a rough first pass only. If you’re hunting for a fat gig, leave it empty and read the cards.

What’s in the job detail

• “Descrição” — the text whoever’s hiring wrote: what the work is, date, location, what they’re expecting.
• “Entidade Associada” — the card for whoever posted the job (studio, band, or project), with the city underneath when there is one.
• “Compartilhar Vaga” — copies the job’s public link. Good for dropping in the WhatsApp group for that friend who’s looking for work. Whoever opens the link sees the job without needing a login, and the button brings them back here to apply.

Applying

1. Open the job.
2. In the “Carta de Apresentação / Portfolio (Opcional)” field, write whatever you want. It really is optional — you can send it blank.
3. Click “CANDIDATAR-SE”. The button turns into “Enviando…”.
4. It worked: the form disappears and you get “Candidatura Enviada com Sucesso!” — “O criador da vaga foi notificado e entrará em contato.”

That’s it. No fee, no plan, no lock: any logged-in user can apply to any job, free plan included.

The cover letter is your only space

You can’t attach a file, a résumé, or audio — text only. So write down what matters: where you’ve played or worked, and paste the links (Instagram, YouTube, Drive, your EPK). Two honest lines with one good link beat a wall of text.

Which profile you apply as

The application goes out under whichever workspace is active at that moment:

• Personal workspace → you apply as yourself.
• Studio or Freelancer workspace → the application goes out tied to that entity.

If you’re not the owner or staff of the studio behind that workspace, the system quietly drops the link and the application goes out as personal. Your user is always recorded as the applicant, so nobody gets lost.

Before you hit “CANDIDATAR-SE”, take a look at which workspace is active — especially if you want to show up as the studio/Freelancer and not as an individual.

One application per job

You only apply once per job. Try again, or try on your own job, and the app blocks it — but the message still shows up in English. Translation:

What shows on screen	What it means
You have already applied for this job	You already applied to this one.
You cannot apply to your own job post	This job is yours, you can’t apply.
This job post is no longer open for applications	The job closed (filled or deleted).

The form comes back — ignore it

After you apply, if you refresh the page or leave the job and come back, the form shows up again like nothing happened. It’s not your fault and it doesn’t mean your application vanished. Send it again and you’ll get that You have already applied for this job — which is actually confirmation that the first one went through.

You can’t edit or cancel an application once it’s sent. So proofread the letter first.

What happens next

The moment you send it, whoever posted the job is notified through three channels: an email with your letter, a phone notification, and a WhatsApp message (when they have a phone on file). The alert goes out with a direct link for them to review you.

On their side, your application lands in a list where they can shortlist, hire, or reject you.

The answer comes from outside the app — and this matters

This is where the product stops. Hold on to these three things:

1. There’s no “my applications” screen. There’s nowhere in the app to see which jobs you applied to or what their status is. Keep your own notes on where you applied and when.
2. Getting hired or rejected only fires the phone app notification. No email, no WhatsApp. If you use it in a browser, you get nothing.
3. A filled or deleted job just disappears from the list — nobody gets told.

That’s why the screen is honest when it says “entrará em contato”: the real answer comes from whoever’s hiring reaching out to you directly, on WhatsApp or by email. If the job really matters to you, don’t just sit waiting on the app.

The Job Board stops at the introduction. It doesn’t generate a booking, a Deal Memo, or a payment: “hiring” there only marks the application status. The deal itself — date, cachê, PIX — you close directly, and then it becomes a gig on the platform.

What if I want to post a job?

Applying is free. Posting a job isn’t: the “POSTAR NOVA VAGA” button is only for people with a B2B workspace (Studio or Freelancer) on the Indie or Profissional plan. Without it, you get the notice asking you to upgrade.

Gotcha for studio staff

The system requires you to be the owner of the studio. If you’re a manager or staff at an Indie/Profissional studio, you’ll still get the upgrade message — even with the plan paid up. It’s not a plan problem: the job has to be posted by the account owner.
